Ask Q to work with sample data
Try a shared analysis using fictional markets or SaaS onboarding data.
Synthetic datasets and Q’s shared results are available in Collaborative rooms. They are demonstrations, not live business-data connections.
Connect a sample to the room
The data is fictional and clearly labeled. It is not a market feed, CRM, customer database or connection to your company’s real data.
- Open a Collaborative room as its owner and choose Choose a demo.
- Select Markets for synthetic market scenarios or Onboarding for fictional SaaS onboarding data.
- Review the sample prompt, edit it to fit your question and send it when ready. Choosing a dataset alone does not start computer work.
- Ask Q for a specific analysis or visual result, such as comparing the sample markets and explaining the assumptions.
Watch the work and review the presentation
Other room members can view the published result. The generated files and computer workspace remain scoped to the requester. Human screen sharing takes priority over Q’s presentation.
- After the explicit request starts a task, use Watch Q when available to inspect your computer work.
- Open the published result when it is ready. The shared presentation is an interactive result, not Q’s entire desktop.
- Ask a follow-up that identifies the change you want. Review the next presentation version and keep the synthetic-data assumptions visible.
Keep and continue the result
Accepted work can continue while the room tab is closed. One sample-data task runs at a time in a room; there is no automatic queue. Client Shared Q does not receive these dataset tools or the team’s saved artifacts.
- Check both the task result and its saved-work status. Completion and saving are separate states.
- Open or download the saved files that you need.
- When the saved task offers Continue working, use it to prepare a follow-up from that workspace and explicitly start the request.
Know what this example proves
Use the samples to explore the workflow and critique an analysis. Check calculations, claims and the fictional inputs before using an output elsewhere. A successful sample does not establish access to real financial, customer or company systems.
Feature access and limits can change. Check availability and planned work.
