Explore and publish a video
Watch public training videos and screen demos, try a starting question with Q and deliberately share your own work.
Public and unlisted sharing covers creator-owned ready Recorder videos and earlier room demos. Live room recordings and Broadcast capture are not included.
Find something useful
Open Explore to browse videos creators have deliberately made public. Filter by Training or Replay, or search titles, descriptions, topics and creator names. You can watch and share a public video without signing in. Replay is a creator-selected label for a screen demo, not an automatically recorded Broadcast.
When a creator includes a starting question, Try this with Q opens an editable form for your own private Collaborative room. Sign in, review the question and create the room when you are ready. The question stays a draft until you send it. This does not join the creator’s room, start a call or automatically ask Q to work.
Review one video, then choose its audience
Recording acknowledgment and Add to room are separate from publication permission. The public video and approved title, description, topic, type, creator name and optional starting question are visible beyond the room. Publication does not grant access to the source room, its conversation, members, files or personal Q work. Anything visible or audible in the selected video itself is part of what you share.
- Open Recordings and make a screen recording, then wait for it to finish processing. You can publish your own ready Recorder videos without a room. Earlier room demos are also eligible while you remain their creator and a member of their room.
- Open Publish a video and select a ready source. Preview it and check its expiry before proceeding.
- Add a title, description and topic. Choose Training or Replay. You can include a starting question for viewers to review and try with Q in their own rooms.
- Choose Unlisted link or Public on SideQuest. Both allow anyone with the link to watch, share it and save a copy without an account.
- Confirm that you have permission to distribute everything in the video, including voices, faces and shared information. Publish only after reviewing the audience summary.
- Once publication is confirmed, open the watch page or copy its link. Manage later withdrawals in Your publications.
Understand the link and its lifetime
Check the actual date on each publication. This is not a permanent video library. Download your own source before it expires if you need to keep it.
| Choice | What it means |
|---|---|
| Unlisted link | Anyone with the link can watch and reshare it. It is excluded from Explore and its search; unlisted is not private access. |
| Public on SideQuest | Anyone can watch. The video is also eligible for Explore and search. |
| Source expiry | Publishing keeps the source deadline shown in the form: 30 days after a Recorder original becomes ready; earlier room demos keep their 24-hour private-draft or 30-day room-share deadline. Publishing does not restart that clock. |
| Later room sharing | Extending the source’s life by adding it to a room later does not extend an existing publication’s deadline. |
| Source becomes unavailable | Deletion, expiry or media replacement blocks future public access. Earlier room demos also require the creator’s room membership. Removing a Recorder room share does not withdraw its independently published link. |
Withdraw a publication
Your publications shows published, unpublished and unavailable videos, their audience and expiry. Choose Unpublish on a published item and confirm to stop new public metadata and media requests and remove it from Explore. Unpublishing does not delete the source demo. Existing transfers and saved copies cannot be recalled.
Report this video lets signed-in viewers submit a private report for operator review. Reports do not automatically remove a publication; the operator can withdraw access after review. The initial service allows up to 100 publication receipts per account, including withdrawn items. Unpublishing does not free a receipt. Explore searches a bounded catalog of the latest 100 public candidates, so it is not a complete archive of every published video.
What comes later
Explore currently covers published screen demos. Public live Broadcast discovery, automatic Broadcast capture and replays, room-recording publication, longer public retention, creator profiles, personalized recommendations and organization or group discovery are planned. Existing Broadcast viewer links remain a separate way to watch a host’s live session.
